Ondertussen in Zuid-Afrika: Fair Play for Africa

Over Fair Play for Africa

The year 2010 is an important one for the African continent: the first FIFA World Cup will be played on African soil; just five years away from the deadline for achieving the Millennium Development Goals, with a key MDG review conference in September, and the target year for African governments to fulfil their promises of spending 15% of national budgets on health care provision.

Fair Play for Africa is a pan African campaign that aims to make a strong push for universal access to quality health services for African citizens especially women, children and people living with HIV and AIDS through a strengthened, coordinated civil society campaign supported by active and empowered citizen base in at least ten focus countries in the continent.
