Simon van Melick

Simon has worked at BKB since 2001 and is involved in numerous projects as an organiser, researcher, advisor and campaign strategist. In addition, Simon has a great interest in film; he regularly makes reports and video productions for BKB. He was part of the team that worked on the BKB / Prospektor production Meanwhile in Europe to celebrate 50 Years of Europe.

Simon has organised several interesting BKB projects. For example, the first chess and boxing gala for the World Chess Boxing Organization (2003); the Science & Technology Summit (2006) where people from the political, educational and business worlds set their Course on Talent; the Night of reproduction; and the multi-year public campaign Barriers Down (2000-2004), which aimed to make the Internet accessible for people with restricted mobility.
