The Dutch Veterans Day

The Dutch Veterans Day has been an official and national event since 2006. Elements of the Veterans Day include the official ceremony in the Knights Hall in The Hague, a medal award ceremony, the salute taken by His Royal Highness the Prince of Orange and a public event on the Maliveld in the centre of The Hague. The Dutch Veterans Day revolves around recognition and appreciation of veterans and aims to increase the mutual understanding between Dutch society and the veterans.

BKB organised the free publicity for the Veterans Day as well as part of the programme.
