Better Care Day

Better Care is the programme where the care sector combines its knowledge and power with the aim of improving the quality of and innovative capabilities in long-term care. Everyone in the sector is aware that healthcare must modernise drastically in order to meet current quality demands. The programme has existed now for around a year; time to take stock.

BKB organised the first and second edition of the Better Care Day, in the beautiful cultural centre Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ in Amsterdam. Around 1,150 representatives from the care sector came together to learn from each other’s experiences and ideas. Carers, managers and quality staff; but also clients, their representatives and insurers.
