Maarten van Heems

Call it a sabbatical: first, Maarten studied Russian in Odessa, then he went on an adventurous journey which took him from the Balkans along the Black Sea, over the Caucasus and deep into Central Asia. Now Maarten is back. Is he older? Is he wiser? Only time will tell. But one thing we do know: he made the right decision to come back to BKB! And he immediately took on the organisation of The Schokland Treaty.

Before his sojourn in the East, Maarten was involved in different BKB projects, with a preference for the big events; multi-faceted and logistically complex jobs such as the Night of the United Nations.

Maarten also handles the European PR for Tom Holkenborg (Junkie XL).
