Tibet Support Group Foundation

In the summer of 2005, on the festival terrain in the Aquabest recreational area, Ticket for Tibet pumped up the decibels in the struggle for a free Tibet. With Peter Pan Speedrock, Def P and other acts such as Racoon, Heideroosjes, Jovink & The Voederbietels, Osdorp Posse, Beef, the El Guapo Stunt Team, Dread Lock Pussy, Tacker, The Apers and Bob Fosko. BKB sponsored the festival and organised a debate.

Ticket for Tibet is the colourful, non-profit festival that draws attention to the unique Tibetan culture and the situation of the Tibetan people. The festival offers a diverse programme including Dutch and Tibetan music, art, workshops, films, debates and sports activities.

Ticket for Tibet foundation is assisted free of charge in different capacities by several professional partners: International Campaign for Tibet, Tibet Support Group the Netherlands, Royal3, Blixxem, LOC7000, District of Amsterdam North and campaign bureau BKB.

In 2008 BKB devised a media strategy that focused optimal media attention on the Tibet issue. This formed the backdrop for a spectacular public event. Also BKB coordinated the organisation of the third edition of the Ticket for Tibet Festival.
