2005 The Geuzen Medal is awarded annually to people or organisations who make a remarkable contribution to fighting against dictatorship and oppression and for human rights and democracy. The Geuzen Medal 2005 went to the International Campaign for Tibet (ICT). Actor Richard Gere accepted the medal on behalf of the ICT. BKB oversaw the press policy.
