Almere City Council

Almere is 30 years old. The city has entered a new phase of urban development and growth. Until 2030, the council is making around 20,000 plots of land available for private development. People can buy a plot and build their dream home on that plot. Entirely according to their own vision, on their own or with others. The result is more diverse communities and a more organic form of urban development.

IambuildingmyhouseinAlmere is the programme through which the Almere City Council will be making thousands of plots available for private development. BKB advised the council on which communication strategy to follow and led the campaign IambuildingmyhouseinAlmere. BKB developed the house style and organised the informational meeting, attended by around 600 interested people.
